Grove Lodge, 11 Lambridge, London Road, Bath, BA1 6BJ

Grove Lodge is located in leafy Lambridge, on London Road (the ancient Roman Via Julia), the principal access route to the City of Bath, flanked by other Georgian villas and impressive townhouses.
It is a 15-minute stroll to the amenities of Bath, with a couple of alternative routes in to town. Rather than the bustling London Road, you could take the picturesque canal tow-path, much loved by all Bathonians, which brings you to Sydney Gardens and the Holburne Museum, (our favourite spot in Bath) continuing down Great Pulteney Street (the setting of so many films for its grandeur) finally arriving at the famous Pulteney Bridge in the centre of town.
But you could also choose not to venture into town and explore our friendly neighbourhood, Larkhall, where you can enjoy a pint of cask ales at the local tavern, The Larkhall Inn, refreshing residents since 1784, or sample a taste of France at Ma Cuisine, before heading to the Rondo, the smallest theatre in town.
In 2015 The Sunday Times described Larkhall as a 'trendy urban village’.
We are lucky to have two excellent restaurants right on our doorstep: Nourish - an independent family-run vegetarian restaurant, offering a variety of dishes for every taste, in a relaxing environment, much loved by locals; Thali - casual Indian dining, just around the block in Larkhall village, a smart modern recent addition to the local scene; or you can join the locals for genuine pub-food at the Rose & Crown - If, after a day of sightseeing or a long journey, you are feeling too tired to venture out, don’t forget you have a beautiful drawing-room in your suite, where you can order a takeaway of your choice from the best restaurants in Bath, courtesy of Deliveroo. We are happy to provide our fine bone china, silver cutlery and linen napkins for you to dine in style!
There is a convenient bus-stop just outside our gate with a regular service to the city centre, while a taxi costs £6-8.
Parking & Pickup
Parking is very difficult in Bath but, if you are coming by car, we can offer you a private off-road parking-space between 100 and 300 metres from our front-door. If you are coming by train or bus we will be happy to come and pick you up from the station.
